Job Description:
The Mid-level Windows 2008 Directory Engineer will be responsible for the
executing directory design tasks of the company's corporate directory
infrastructure. The Mid-level Directory Engineer will also be responsible
for understanding, evolving the company's Global Corporate Directory
Services strategy and providing technical expertise in implementing,
administering and supporting that strategy. This position will require a
strong knowledge of enterprise directory service concepts including but not
limited to installing domain controllers, configuring DNS, DHCP and other
network services.
Key Responsibilities
Install new domain controllers as per design document
Install and configure network services (DNS, DHCP and WINS)
Configure and maintain trusts between domains
Document and maintain schematics of directory and other services
Interface with cross functional teams (Applications and Messaging) to ensure
smooth integration
Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Requirements
4-6 years experience in a related position (Directory Engineer) in a
corporate environment
Experience implementing and maintaining Windows 2008 Microsoft's Active
Directory
The ability to work well as an individual contributor or as part of a
cross-departmental team
Migration experience from Windows 2000/2003 directory
