A top-tier Investment Bank is looking for a Senior C++ developer experienced
with high frequency Algorithmic trading system. The candidate will be
participating in the re-architecture of one of the best Smart Order Routers
on the Street in order to improve its performance, reduce processing latency
and streamline algorithm design.
*Description:*
<! Apply knowledge of *Object Oriented Architecture and Design* to create
cutting edge software.
<! Participate in design sessions where features, enhancements or bugs are
discussed in professional and respectful manner.
<! Produce required documentation. Develop high quality programs in
*C/C++*with limited supervision.
<! Collaborate with the team of finding every possible way to enhance
existing system.
<! Write test (unit, functional, etc) and test programs to run on the
target. Perform performance tuning, latency analysis, and debugging.
<! Create necessary scripts for deployment, builds, etc.
<! Deliver working solutions in timely manner.
<! Monitor deployed applications.
<! Train production support personal on use of developed systems and
enhanced functionality.
Provide support by advising in the areas of expertise. Create positive
work atmosphere.
*Qualifications:*
<! *At least 7 years* of experience in *C/C++ application* development.
<! Experience in *development low latency financial systems*
<! Proven ability to streamline software architecture and produce
performance improvements.
<! Expertise in *multi-threaded programming*
<! Experience with *networking protocols*, such as TCP/IP and UDP
<! Working knowledge of *messaging middleware* (TIBCO, 29West)
<! Understanding of *Object Oriented Architecture* and* Design*.
<! Knowledge of *Operating Systems* (Linux, Solaris and Windows)
<! Experience in development and support of critical enterprise systems
<! Understanding of *relational databases* (experience with Sybase & Oracle
is a plus)
<! Problem solving capability and strong analytical skills
<! Knowledge of other languages such as *Perl, Java, and C* is a plus.
