Please send me profiles ASAP to [email protected] Role: Senior MySQL/SQL Server DBA Duration: 1 year project with extension possibility Location: Santa Clara, Ca DBA for working on MS SQL and MySQL databases for a short three-four week assignment on Windows platform. The DBA should be extremely good and be able to hit the road running - no time to read the install guide and then do it - must have done this many many times before. In fact, we should be able to leverage from his/her experience. Major function of his/her role will be to quickly understand the application DB architecture (documentation is available), and be able to install, configure and test the DB clusters in a very quick, efficient and professional manner consistent with IT DB Team Implementation standards (this can be made available quickly as KT from other DBA). The DBA should also be able to setup all housekeeping jobs for the databases as required and work with the application deployment team to address any requirements, issues, problems. As well as be able to work with other teams (storage, server, networking) as needed. Should be able to create good documentation. The work is a part of a complex set of application deployment, not just limited to the above specified areas and I am looking for an accomplished and senior level DBA We are expecting a healthy and long relationship with you and your company.
