Short Description:
Senior Architect responsible for designing, developing, and implementing
application infrastructure to provide highly-complex, reliable, and scalable
applications and systems to meet the organization's objectives and
requirements. Complete Description:
Resource needed with strong ESRI experience w/ArcGIS server architecting and
implementing in an Enterprise system.
Client is in need of a highly experienced Geospatial Information System
(GIS) resource to work with the Bureau of Information Technology (BIT) on
the PA-Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) project team to assist in
the developing, coordinating, implementing and administering a Enterprise
GIS as it relates to the EPHT program requirements. BIT currently has no GIS
software and hardware resources. This resource will work with the EPHT IT
Project Manager and EPHT Program/Business Manager to review existing EPHT
system requirements, recommend GIS software and hardware configurations and
complete a project plan to implement a development environment at BIT.
Tasks to be accomplished:
- Review existing EPHT system requirements pertaining to GIS functions
- Make recommendations for hardware and network specifications; meet with
and coordinate hardware and software deployments with BIT server team
- Develop a project plan for installation, configuration, and testing of GIS
software products in a development environment
- Install, configure, and document GIS software applications to meet EPHT
system requirements
- Conduct test scenarios for application/system validation of function
- Provide weekly status updates to BIT project manager
- Conduct knowledge transfer to BIT staff for management and maintenance of
GIS software
This engagement will consist of 40-hour work weeks.
