Informatica ETL Developer
The ETL Developer role will help with developing the foundational technical
architecture support for deploying a new Informatica environment in
Informatica 8.3. This person will also play a key role in developing the
data integration solutions for the NYMEX integration. Individual will be
responsible for developing ETL mappings for STATS mainframe elimination
project using Informatica. Person should have strong background in Data
Warehousing, dimensional modeling and Oracle (PL/SQL) development to
integrate Informatica processes to work in conjunction with existing PL/SQL
ETL processes.
Responsibilities
Integration Tasks:
Design strategy to integrate Nymex fee and volume data into CME Group’s data
warehouse
Develop ETL maps using Informatica to integrate Nymex fee and volume data
Develop process to move Informatica packages from Dev to QA and Production.
Standards Development:
Document Create Best Practices document for transformation usage
Document best practices for tool usage strategy comparing Java, PL/SQL vs.
Informatica
Document Create ETL Standards

Infrastructure/Production Support Tasks:
Develop Disaster Recovery
Develop restart recovery processes and procedures

Development and manage cross team scheduling standards and thread management

Experience in developing and documenting environment setup processes,

position reports to the Customer Experience UI Development Manager. The role

design, and User Experience best practices.

requirements, be able to derive the UI design from documented functional
requirements, and collaborate with fellow developers, UI designers, product

Requirements
Minimum of 6 years experience in front-end web development, with

Mobile WAP browser experience
iPhone, Android and/or BlackBerry development experience
Understanding of Java/J2EE technologies including servlets, JSP,
JSF, XML processing.
Experience developing on application servers such as Apache
Tomcat, WebLogic etc.
Experience with version control systems such as Subversion,
ClearCase, CVS, SourceSafe etc.
Capable of adhering to project schedules and effectively
tracking progress to meet challenging deadlines and corporate initiatives.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
A proven track record of successful UI Design development
projects.
Preferred
Experience with AJAX frameworks such as Prototype,
script.aculo.us, jQuery or YUI.
Experience with extreme programming (XP) / Agile development
practices a plus.
Enterprise application experience is strongly preferred.
BS, BFA or BA major in computer science, or a related field.
Financial services experience is a plus.
