*Requirement:*
Position: *Cognos Database Administrator*
Location: NYC
Duration: Long term
Rate: $35/hr all inclusive is the MAX rate we have
• Develop Cognos Framework Manager Models, Report Studio Reports and Cognos
Transformer Cubes to serve the end-users.
• Participation in requirement meetings with end-users to understand and
collect Business Intelligence (BI) report and Web content needs.
• Document these requirements, resolve ambiguities and conflicts, gather
consensus.
• Prepare conceptual, logical and physical design documents.
• Collaborate with other groups to design and develop new enterprise
reporting solutions.
• Tune the supporting queries and report build processes to improve end-user
access response times.
• Design, document and deploy the front-end components of analytical
applications.
• Work with the Information Delivery team to provide training and support.
• Assist in the rollout, maintenance and ongoing administration of these
applications.
*Required Skills:*
COGNOS Report Studio (Required 5-7 years)
COGNOS Framework Manager (Required 5 years)
COGNOS Transformer Model Designer (Required 4
Years)
