*Job Title: Solaris / Linux Admin*
*Location: Norfolk, VA*
*Duration: 9+ Months*

Deploy applications, patches, and configurations into a user approved
testing environment (UAT) or production environment following deployment
plans, which are reviewed and corrected prior to deployment. The candidate
must be an experienced system administrator (preferable 5 + years) in
various UNIX environments and follow strict change control procedures.
Requires knowledge of server hardware, (Dell, Sun, HP), networking skills
(be able to navigate between systems) and security processes and tools (EVM,
ESM,).
This candidate will be responsible for code deployment, patching, disaster
recovery servers, user testing, moving packages, deploying boxes all in a
Solaris and Linux environment. This is not an Administrative role. This
person will be deploying and building new environments from a set of
deployment tasks handed off from the leads.
*Required Skills : *
1) Solaris versions - 2.6, 8, 9, and 10 - Expert
2) 2) Linux versions - RHEL 3.x, 4.x, and 5.x - Expert
3) UNIX Shell Scripting - Expert
4) UNIX - All Varieties - Expert
5) HPUX versions 11.0, 11.11, 11.23, & 11.31 - Intermediate
6) Server hardware, (Dell, Sun, HP - Intermediate
7) Networking between systems - Intermediate
8) security processes and tools (EVM, ESM) - Intermediate
