*Key Responsibilities Include:*
· Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica, PL/SQL, and
other tools.
· Work closely with cross-functional technology and business teams
to understand requirements and create technical specifications.
· Debug and help resolve any ETL/BI related issues in the system
and help business analysts and client understand it.
· Ensure high quality and performance in the data architecture
results in delivering solutions to our clients
· Work closely with the Business Intelligence Reporting team so
that report development is efficient and timely
*Requirements
*
· BS Computer Science or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years of experience in an IT role.
· 4-5 years of data warehousing experience.
· 4-5 years of ETL experience. Power Center version 8.x experience
preferred.
· 2-3 years of experience with Informatica Metadata Manager and
Data Profiler tools.
· 2-3 years of UNIX shell scripting experience.
· 2+ years of experience with BI Reporting technologies, such as
Cognos 8 or Microsoft Reporting Services.
· Good Understanding of Dimensional modeling across different
schemas.
· Strong database and analytical skills
· Experience with Oracle 9i/10g/11 RDBMS, SQL Server. 2000/2005
specially in writing Sql queries Stored Procedures, Triggers, Database
tuning for optimal performance for Data warehouse
· Must be self-motivated, have a strong team orientation, and be
able to learn quickly.
· Must be well organized and capable of handling multiple projects
and deadlines.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal
skills, and be able to work with business users
