Sr. .Net Programmer Analyst
Duration: 12 Months plus
Location: State of Ohio
Rate: Hourly all inclusive
This consultant will assist with the upgrade and enhancement of the client’s
current systems. The primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
• Documenting the application utilizing ERD and mapping the database fields
to services exposed to a given user.
• Building all necessary pages and defining functionality utilizing .Net
technology.
• Reviewing the existing .Net code and troubleshooting and optimizing
existing stored procedures.
• Optimizing the rules dealing with stored procedures, functions and
indexes, and building new stored procedures in SQL Server 2008.
• Creating complex packages for automating data and workflow processes.
• Rewriting the source code and data from legacy applications and databases
into new C# applications and SQL 2008 database.
• Designing and building the required reports utilizing SSRS and a process
to migrate data utilizing SSIS.
• Creating system testing scripts and error recovery routines and
strategies.
• Deploying new applications to departments and utilizing AD as it related
to programming and providing security group
recommendations to the DSS group.
• Completing any necessary documentation and researching and providing
recommendations to problems as needed.
Primary Skills:
• 8 years of total IT experience in web development using MS .Net
technologies.
• 5 years of experience as a Sr. .Net Developer.
• 5 years of experience in .Net utilizing C#.
• 5 years experience with SQL Server database design and development,
including optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures
and functions.
• 3 years experience working directly with end-users to definte requirements
and provide technical advice and assistance in a large-scale environment.
• 2 years experience with Web development using MS .Net technologies with
Visual Studio 2008 or later version.
• 2 years of data conversion experience to SQL Server.
• 1 year of SOA experience developing and securing WCF.
• 1 year experience creating and processing XML files.
Preferred Skills:
• 6 months SQL Server 2008 R.2 reporting experience.
• 6 months experience developing C# .Net web projects in Visual Studio 2010.
• Understanding of N-tier environments, code repository strategies, code
promotion strategies and recovery using VSS
of TFS.
• Understanding of the new features introduced with Visual Studio 2010.
• Experience converting legacy databases to SQL Server 2008 R.2
Required Demonstrable Skills:
• The ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business
and/or functional lines.
• Excellent oral and written skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of
prioritization.
