Responsibilities include:
· Review business requirements, functional specifications, use
cases,design and architecture documents in order to produce a test strategy
and testcases
· Create test strategy, test plans, test cases, test data, and
testresults memo
· Perform smoke, system, integration, functional, performance, load
andregression testing to ensure the final implementation through the
successfulexecution of the QA process and procedures
· Report, track defects, and create bugs report using NORC's
defecttracking system
· Update and maintain test plan and test result documentation
· Communication and reporting of the QA process and status through
NORC'stest management tools
· Work effectively and collaboratively with the QA team,
developmentteams, project managers, business analysis team, and business
users
· Participates in peer reviews of project deliverables
· Assist in the development and improvement of QA processes
andmethodology
· Assist in the development, evolution, execution and
continuousimprovement of our QA capabilities, competencies, efficiencies and
deliveryquality
Required Experience:
· B.S. in Computer Science or other equivalent degree or experience
· 4+ years of related experience or extensive quality
assurance/testingexperience required
· Knowledge of the quality assurance methodologies for
softwaredevelopment, including tools, methods, planning, design, and
implementation
· Experience developing, writing, and executing written test plans
· Ability to see the high level picture in testing a product and find
loopholes where the product has not been tested and provide timely inputs to
thetest manager
· Experience in the development and implementation of applications
for weband client-server based environments
· Understanding of key business applications involving large scale
datacollection and information management
· Working knowledge of object oriented, database and rapid
developmenttechniques
· Understanding of multiple IT technical platforms, and
applicationdevelopment methodologies
· Strong in Excel and SQL query
· Experience with HP QTP automated testing tools a plus
· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
· Very strong attention to detail
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
