Database Administrator, SQL Server
Required Skills:
• debugging and performance tuning stored procedures, UDFs and triggers.
• index analysis.
• data normalization.
• monitoring and tuning tools such as Profiler, Spotlight.
• installation and configuration procedures.
• clusters, RAID, multi-processor architecture, etc.
• VBScript and advanced DTS, SSIS package design.
• shell scripting (i.e. command line applications, batch files, etc.)
Experience:
• 7+ years experience in a large scale SQL 2000, 2005 and 2008 environments.
• multi-node clustered SQL environments.
• Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 server.
