· The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of hands on Data
Modeling and Data Analysis experience on complex Data Warehouse databases.
· Required Skill:
· Ability to work with business analysts and Data Warehouse team
members in determining
· the best solution to be used in developing the reporting
platforms
· Ability to Design and implement Enterprise structures for landing
data from outside source systems and 3rd party external data into the data
warehouse
· Ability to Design and implement relational and dimension data
model of Enterprise and Data Mart structures.
· Ability to Develop data mappings for reports and dashboards that
correlate data elements on reports with the tables/fields in the Underlying
physical data model
· Experienced in the full SDLC
· Required Experience:
· Experience with the Implementation of Enterprise wide Data
Warehouse Best Practices
· Strong experience with ETL process and ETL tools
· Strong experience with Data Modeling Tools (Erwin)
· Strong experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services
· Strong experience with Oracle 10g and PL/SQL
· Strong knowledge of Star Scheme, Snow Flake and Normalized
Methodologies. (knowledge of CUBES is a huge plus)
· Strong RDBMS modeling experience
· Strong data architect and modeling techniques
· Strong ETL design and mapping experience
· Strong knowledge SAP Business Objects Enterprise
· Strong knowledge of SAP Business Objects Crystal Dashboard Design
(formerly Xcelsius)
· Strong knowledge of SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence Report
· Strong knowledge of XML
· Solid report and dashboard design experience
· Solid Data Warehouse Design Experience
· Years of Experience:
· 10+ years hands on Data Analysis and Data Modeling
· 5+ years experience in Business Objects Data Integrator XI, Data
Services is a plus
· 5+ years experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
· 5+ years experience with ETL development
· 10+ years experience with SQL
· 10+ years experience with RDBMS concepts
