Title : Access Developer
Location : Franklin Lakes, NJ
Duration : 6 months contract
Rate : $40/hr on C2C or 1099
Technical Skills:
Databases: Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, DB2
Operating Systems: Windows, Mainframe (MVS)
Languages: VBA for MS Access, VBA for excel, Transaction-SQL and Basic
SQL, Access Queries, Forms, Macros, and Modules, VB, COBOL, JCL
Applications: Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Projects, Excel, Powerpoint,
Outlook)
Other: ODBC, MS Visio, AB Initio (not required)
Qualifications:
Experience developing Access databases and applications for data analysis,
transformation and validation projects
Solid background in table/query design, report design, and automation
utilizing VBA modules.
Strong track record collaborating with stakeholders to define functional
requirements.
Proficient with the data management policies, procedures and common
technical tools
Superior communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Strong analytical, evaluation and interpretation skills
Excellent planning and decision making abilities
Ability to work independently and implement the executed tasks with the
planned activities on schedule
Hand-on experience of data-modeling
Responsibilities:
Perform analysis of the given Rebate Billing Process rules and configuration
data to draw accurate inferences, in accord with the objectives of the
analysis
Gather data required to conduct analysis from several sources, compile in
prescribed format and enter the data in several data analysis software
Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional requirements.
Evaluate the given problem, situation and crisis; investigate for solutions
using data analysis practices and prepare analysis reports
Determine the methodologies and procedures for carrying out effective data
analysis and data quality assurance process. Provide training to the staff
members on the new process implemented
Execute routine analytical tasks once an automated analysis process is
established.
