Person needs to be a Green Card holder or Citizen Position: QA Tester for DW - ETL, SSIS Project Location: Burlington, MA (however ~ 80% of the work can be preformed remotely) Rate: Open (DOE) Duration:2 to 6 months+ This is the QA Role. It can be just QA or a mix of QA / BSA. For an individual w/ just QA skills we can commit to 2 months. If the person is a mix of QA / BSA we can commit to 2 months and there is a good possibility of extension into the next phase of the project... 6 + months. DW/BI QA Resource Overview Our local solutions practice is currently looking for a proven ETL QA Resource to participate in a variety of client engagements. The primary responsibility of this position is to work as part of a project team for the testing of the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. The QA Resource will be required to ensure that the data extract reflects the source, that transformation rules are applied according to specifications, and the data is loaded to target database as expected. The QA Resource will also be responsible for ensuring that reports and dashboards are created according to specifications. Required Skills and Experience: § At least 3 years work experience within IT or related activity. § At least 1 year experience on one or more DW project teams § Experience within the consulting services industry § Experienced with SQL and SQLServer § Experienced with at least one BI (Reporting, Analysis) tool § Good communication skills § Experience in creating test plans Desired Skills and Experience: § Knowledge of Data Quality methodologies and tools a strong plus § Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and tools a plus § Experience in the Manufacturing industry § Exposure to a variety of packaged source systems (ERP) data, e.g., SAP, JDE, Peoplesoft, Oracle § Experience with SQLServer Integration Services (SSIS) and other ETL tools, e.g., Informatica, Datastage.
