*Location:* Mooresville, NC

*Duration:* 6+ months



*Skills and Experience:** *


   - High skill level in MS Project 2007 and MS Project Server 2007 to
   handle support calls regarding project work plans and project server data
   - Must be knowledgeable in PWA specifically in the areas of Project
   Center, Resource Center and Data Analysis views
   - Highly organized and administratively process-oriented
   - Able to document step by step procedures, using MS Word effectively
   - Able to take ownership of tasks, completing and reporting back on
   progress
   - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to
   communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and
   management
   - Able to work in fast-paced, high-stress, constantly changing volatile
   atmosphere
   - Consultative abilities to coach others in tool set users
   - BA/BS Degree, in a technology related field or other degree preferred
   - Strong understanding Project Management principles
   - Command Working Knowledge of full Microsoft Office Suite – including
   Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & SharePoint


*Responsibilities: *


   - Monitor and administer departmental mailbox responding to MS Project
   and Portfolio process questions and issues
   - Monitor and administer Project Server Proposal Queue (Process used to
   create new Projects and Programs in Project Server and associated SharePoint
   Sites)
   - Provide 2nd tier to support for IT Service Desk for MS Project 2007, MS
   Project Server 2007, and SQL Server Reporting Services
   - Provide consultation on best practices and troubleshooting of MS
   Project work plans
   - Process Weekly IT Reports on IT Programs and Projects’ status,
   measurement metrics, etc.
   - Provide walk up, phone, IM, and email customer support
   - Initiate and implement process improvement procedures regarding IT
   Portfolio Support.


*Scope and Additional Information: *

The resource’s primary focus will be to provide MS Project 2007 and MS
Project Server 2007 support in handling support calls and IT weekly
reporting.  Having Clarity knowledge is a plus.
