Position : SQL DBA Support
Location : Washington, DC
Duration : Start Date: 08/03/2011
End Date: 09/30/2011 ( May extend for more than 2 years)
Complete Description:
The primary purpose of this position is for a , Database Architect,
Database Analyst, Systems Analyst, develop database systems solutions,
maintain existing databases and to support agency business objectives
through advanced data analysis, modeling, migration and management.
Skills Needed:
1. Extensive, independent SQL Server DBA Experience
2. Experience installing and configuring SQL Server 2000-2008.
3. SQL Server database architect.
4. Programming with SQL Server 2005/2008, SQL stored procedures, user
defined functions, cursors and query batches
5. Database design, development and management
6. Data modeling
7. Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing
valid conclusions
8. Analyzing business processes and performing in-depth work analysis
9. Interfacing with end-users or clients
10. Work with Technical Team Lead and clients to define program requirements
11. Database management through maintenance of data dictionaries, data
models, performance tuning. Coordinates database changes and tests.
