*Job Title : Sr. Security Specialist*
*Location : Chicago, IL*
*Duration : 6-12 Months*
*Primary position responsibilities:*
• Assist with communication and reporting for vulnerability scan results and
track, communicate and follow up with asset custodians for vulnerability
remediation
• Assist with GIS Risk Management Program by administering defined process
for identified risks. This would include tracking and reporting on risks
Sr Security Specialist will provide technical support for all aspects of
information security. This includes, but is not limited to, networking
hardware, network protocols, wireless networks, various computer operating
systems, analysis of various business applications and processes. The Sr
Security Specialist will provide vulnerability assessments and
recommendations for risk mitigation
- Research, test, evaluate, and troubleshoot potential solutions to
protect business environments and systems.
- Perform vulnerability assessments for client systems and applications.
- Interact directly with other internal client groups to collect and
analyze systems and applications.
*Manager Comments :*
*Additional Skills:* Knowledge of vulnerabilities, vulnerability management,
risk management, and Qualys is highly desirable. Interaction with user and
owner community to remediate risks and vulnerabilities, as well as define
and implement process is required.
