*Required skills:*

·         7+ years of multi-site systems engineering experience

·         Demonstrable design, implementation, engineering and operational
support experience in the following technical disciplines: Microsoft Server
2003/2008, Active Directory, Exchange 2008/2010, Microsoft SQL 2000/2008,
IIS, Red Hat Linux, Apache, MySQL

·         Proficient in at least one scripting language: Perl, Python, PHP *–
any language*

·         Operational experience in Cisco IOS, Call Manager and Unity voice
systems

·         Proven track record in managing Vendors, Contractors and
Consultants

·         Foundational knowledge of ITIL service management principles and
practices

·         Ability to clearly articulate business cases for technology
recommendations that rationalize OpEX/CapEx in addition to hard and soft
cost impacts related to staffing, support and management

·         Enterprise storage management experience: NetApp, Hitachi, EMC

·         5+ years experience in Server/Network Monitoring, Reporting and
Automation tool sets: HP Openview, Opsware, Tivoli, Nagios, Cacti, MRTG,
Axibase -  *As many of these as possible*

·         Proficiency in VM Ware Tool Sets and Virtual computing best
practices

·         Excellent written, verbal, and Visio diagramming skills required

·         Windows or Linux Certifications a plus but not required

·         BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred

*Responsibilities:*

·         Determine computing standards and lead the design, build, and
support of cost effective, scalable IT Systems and Applications to enable
business productivity and growth

·         Create, implement and maintain IT processes, procedures and
business continuity/disaster recovery plans in support of business SLA/OLA’s


·         Participate in all forms of IT Service Management initiatives as
related to Change, Release, Problem Management and Incident Response

·         Liaise with line of business stakeholders to gather technology
requirements and act as a solutions consultant

·         Market Information Technology products and services and conduct
user training sessions

·         Management and forecasting of Hardware and Software licensing

·         Take a lead role in the specification, ordering, purchasing,
asset-tracking, and inventory of IT Infrastructure
equipment/supplies/software

·         Participate in after-hours OnCall support rotations

·         Support and architect IT Core Services such as Exchange, Active
Directory, FileShare, SharePoint, FTP infrastructures

·         Define patch management strategies for Servers and Desktops

·         Management of Storage Infrastructure

·         Take an active role in defining, implementing and managing
Information Security policies and best practices

·         Be a key contributor to IT Strategic Planning

·         Systems management/capacity planning for Network, Servers (Physical
& Virtual) and Storage environments

·         Perform additional tasks and duties as required by Vantage
management
