Job Description:
Mainframe Developer to design, develop, test, implement and maintain
Unisys Online application, batch processes and Web enabled software.
Provide operational support to maintain the system. Provide guidance
and recommendations on development methodologies and design concepts
to the team. Act as technical lead in designing and implementing
solutions for projects in supply chain management. Must have knowledge
of Software Development Life cycle and provide support in
implementation of the processed.
Unisys A-Series/NX-Series basics and concepts, exposure to BATCH and
ONLINE programming under COMS environment using COBOL.
Skills Required:
Languages: COBOL, WFL, DASDL
Expert knowledge in DMSII extentions in COBOL
Database and tools: DMSII, DMINQ, ERGO, URSA, DMUTILITY , UML (will be
a plus)
Editors: CANDE, Workbench
Other Tools and Utilities: TADS, DUMPALL, PDIR, PATCH
Web enabling and related languages, tools and concepts: MGSWEB (will
be plus), J2EE develoment (will be plus)
