*#5511 : Voice Network Engineer ( Cisco , LAN, WAN ) / Location: Lisle, IL
/ Rate: All Inclusive / Duration: 1 year *

*Mandatory Skills:  *

- Installs, configures, upgrades and troubleshoots the various voice
solutions in place at our client . *Cisco* and Avaya are predominant but
there may be others.

- Incident, change and problem management of enterprise voice related issues

- *Cisco* router / voice gateway configuration and troubleshooting

- Telecom and backbone infrastructures including SIP

- Develop and install cost effective, operationally supportable solutions
that meet complex requirements.

- Provides technical support for new application design and supporting
infrastructure.

- Provides technical support for voice *network*/equipment related
challenges.

- Provides clear technical documentation and written procedures to ensure
other members of the support organization can assist in monitoring and
troubleshooting these complex environments.

- Builds relationships with technical staff members and with internal
stakeholders.

- *Cisco* Call Manager 8.X and Unity - CCVP (certification) is preferred

- Provides technical assistance to internal/external customers in the event
of voice telephony failure or error.

- Maintains familiarity with client base and the *network* resources being
utilized by customers. Uses this information to assist in resolving *network
* issues or troubleshooting voice related telephony outages or impairments.

- Works with cross-functional project teams including *LAN*/*WAN*, other
Voice

Engineer(s) and Unified Communications Engineers

- Interface with business users to gather requirements, recommend
solutions, and provide support.

- Participates in small to medium scale systems projects of moderate
visibility and complexity.

- Perform weekly and monthly *network* maintenance activity when required.

*Secondary Skills: *

- *Cisco* Contact center express

- Verint quality monitoring and workforce management

- Positive Attitude, Ethics and International Values which support our
company's values and a healthy, high performance culture

- Experience with *Cisco* Call Manager 8.X required. Other experience
related to line/PRI/SIP configurations and installations, architecture,
call routing tables, call center admin desired. In addition, AVAYA CM is a
plus.

- QoS, as it relates to Voice traversing *LAN*s and *WAN*s

*Duties:*

- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations
involving readily identifiable problems.

- Assists in the p*lan*ning and implementation of large-scale systems



*Required Education/Experience:*  Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or
Information Technology preferred
