*Data Modeler/Architect* :
*Data Modeler/Architect* will include:
· *Defining tables, indexes, views, constraints, triggers, stored
procedures, tablespaces or storage parameters, and other database-specific
constructs needed to store, retrieve, and delete persistent objects*
· *Maintaining the Data Model.*
· *Implementing solutions using Informatica and other RDBMS
(Oracle n.n, SQL Server n, etc.).*
· *Providing analysis and data modeling expertise to review
existing subject models and identify areas for redesign*
· *Analyzing requirements to develop a design concept and
technical approach.*
· *Identifying impact of existing models with respect to new
frameworks.*
· *Maintaining and adhering to data architecture standards.*
· *Designing conceptual and logical models for data warehouse or
data marts to support business intelligence reporting*
· *Facilitating discussions of physical database designs changes
with database administrators*
· *Completing project documentation as defined by the project.*
*Required Skills & Experience*
· *Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling and Database Design*
· *Database and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design techniques*
· *Database Administration principles*
· *Data integrity and migration activities*
· *Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling*
· *Maintaining awareness of Data Architecture / Modeling Best
Practices*
· *Business Intelligence*
· *Oracle PL/SQL and SQL*PLUS*
· *Oracle database (also Informatica and SQL Server database
preferred)*
· *Data modeling tools (Embarcadero ER/Studio preferred)*
· *Programming skills (Mainframe and web based)*
· *Flash Disks, In-Circuit Emulators and Program Testing Software
(Mercury Interactive LoadRunner preferred)*
· *Building Data Migration strategies *
