*Position: SAP Business Objects Developer*
Location : St. Charles, MO
Duration: 12 months
Experience: 5+ Years
*Qualifications:*
- Participate as a development team member in projects requiring
extensive data analysis skills and data migration tasks
- Apply deep understanding of SAP BW/BO to design solutions,
troubleshoot issues both on the SAP BW and Business Objects side to
maintain satisfactory report generation performance.
- Provide guidance in the design and development of SAP Business Objects
solutions in an SAP BI/BW environment
- Evaluate and recommend best approaches and tools to support business
and technical requirements.
Apply advanced skills in designing, developing, maintaining, and
supporting Business Objects projects
- Work in a team environment (and with experts from both IT and
business) to create proper data models and data representation and deploy
warehouse solutions on time and within budget
- Support various reporting and Business Intelligence/Decision Support
tools
- Develop and design Business Objects Universe, reports, and dashboard
for the purpose of proper data representation.
- Responsible for Business Objects Administration
- Provide occasional instruction and mentoring to other warehouse
development personnel
- Be available to work occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime
*Requirements*
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems
or equivalent work experience
- 5+years recent work experience in
design/development/maintenance/support of Business Objects Universe, Webi
reports, and Dashboards
- 5+ years experience in Business Objects administration
- 2+ years experience in design/development of Xcelsius dashboards
(Crystal Dashboard Design) and Live Office
- 3+ years experience in BO XI R2 a must
- 1+ year experience in BO XI 3.1 a must
- 5+ years recent experience in writing SQL queries
- Experience with BW BEx Query development, Web development and
integrating Business Objects and Crystal Reports with a SAP BW, ABAP and
Java Script will be considered a plus.
- Experience with business process reengineering, including gathering
and documenting requirements, documenting workflows and developing
application specifications.
- Experience with BW version 7.01preferred. Including Web application
designer, query designer and analyzer.
- Preferred 3 – 5 years business experience in either Finance, Risk or
Trade
- Must have strong communications and technical leadership skills
