We’ve Urgent requirement with one of our direct client for *Business Analyst Tech Lead* job opening in *NYC, NY.* *Job Title: Business Analyst Tech Lead* *Duration: 6 Months* *Location: NYC,NY* *Purpose, Key Responsibilities, and Essential Functions of the position:* The Solution Design team is responsible for system process changes in Vantage. The team is divided into areas represented by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), allowing an individual to concentrate business analysis efforts on a portion of the project rather than the entire scope (i.e. Master Data, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job Management, Timesheets, Purchasing, Billing, Studio, Revenue Recognition). SMEs serve as a liaison between the Agencies and the Vantage development team with responsibilities for: *Contribution to development of the overall Vantage business template by gathering and analyzing business requirements by: * · Creating use cases, requirements, process flows to be leveraged by development teams and deployment teams · Negotiating requirement trade-offs that keep project schedule on track while still meeting business objectives · Help determining highest priority requirements for the team and manage change to those priorities/requirements · Taking a leading role in resolution of escalated remedies, and advocate for enhancements in subsequent product releases as necessary · Participate in the creation of the functional spec documents in conjunction with the development team · Implementing and controlling the relevant portion of the template to meet global and local legal/business requirements for Sarbanes-Oxley by establishing, documenting, & communicating common/uniform business and system procedures. · Working with the Vantage Development Team to provide new or custom technical solutions and assisting with testing new or changed items. Documenting business scenarios and creating scripts to test recommended use of Vantage transactions in relation to accounting and capturing costs for ’s agencies activities in the area of responsibilities · Participating in the Vantage roll out to implement established processes relating to the area of responsibility and assisting the onsite training team · Assisting Vantage Help Desk with Vantage support issues once implementation is complete, as well as providing ongoing support for the existing client base as required. · For the Lead to be effective in their assigned area, or in supporting another area, SMEs must understand the broader advertising business model and how their particular area fits into the larger business context. This could include understanding how area activities support client contracts, or what dependencies exist between areas. SMEs must be able to analyze many sets of requirements and consolidate to one process, or determine a work-around for gaps between the requirement and the solution. SMEs need the ability to grasp how a technical requirement will affect the processes within their area, as well as affecting points of integration. · The Lead must be able to segment their responsibilities and delegate work to supporting business analysts in a grid organization. *The Solution Design team will be split into 3 areas:* Contracts, Charges, and Reporting *Lead 1: Contracts Informational:* This lead will be responsible for requirements in the area of contracts which lead to contract support activities. These activities include Master Data, Jobs, and Estimates. *Lead 2: Charges This is the role to be filled:* This lead will be responsible for requirements in the area of job activities stemming from the contract support. These activities include Time, Soft Cost and Hard Cost Posting, Billing, Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. *Lead 3: Reporting Informational:* This lead will be responsible for requirements in the area of reporting. This includes cross functional, high level, analytical reporting, or data mining. *Challenges faced: *Conflicting or unclear requirements. Conflicting deadlines. *Measurable Impact on the Organization:* This position has a primary impact on template releases. These must be on time, must meet user expectations, and must have minimal bugs. *Contacts: * This position reports directly to Business Analysis Manager - OMS and will interface with all members of the Vantage Team and many levels of employees across the agency business units. *Education and Experience Required:* This position requires 5+ years experience in advertising, strong analytic capabilities, the ability to delegate, and a working knowledge of accounting.
