This position is to immediately augment the Unix Engineering team and
actively participate in and in some cases complete projects to support
Power AIX OS upgrades 5.3 to 6.1, AIX migrations to the Power 7 platform,
configure Tivoli Productivity Center for Disk and perform SAN/Brocade
functionality and health checks.
* Perform SAN/Brocade health and functionality checks and follow up with
any agreed upon next steps.
* Participate and add-value to projects to Upgrade/Migrate AIX OS’s off the
P6-595 and onto the p770
* Assist with implementing Protect Tier VTL and lower tiered storage
* Monitor SVC and TPC for Disk and implement new logging and reporting
* 3+ years Tivoli Productivity Center for Disk experience
* 2+ years SAN/Brocade experience
* 3+ years PowerVM p5-p7
* 3+ years AIX OS 5.3 and 6.1 experience and upgrades
* Health care experience strongly preferred.
* 3+ years Storage Volume Controller (SVC) experience
