3 - 5 years of experience developing enterprise web applications and
Microsoft Windows-based software products
Education Required:
Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, Computer Engineering, or software related program from an
accredited university is required. A Master’s Degree in any of the
programs above is a plus.
*Candidate Responsibilities:*
The chosen candidate will be required to:
· Design and implement software solutions for the Encore family of
products
· Handle tasks within the group’s prescribed software development
process
· Create and update design documentation
*Candidate Profile:*
The candidate will be required to demonstrate proficiency in:
· Object oriented design and implementation
· Object oriented programming in a language such as C# or Java (C#
preferred)
· Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010 and the .NET Framework (2.0,
3.5 & 4.0)
· N-tier software architectures
· Multi-threaded application development
· Interacting with source control systems (TFS)
· Client/server software architectures
· Experience with design patterns/ industry best practices
· Documenting software requirements and designs
· Working effectively with individuals (software as well as
non-software) on a project team
· Developing high-performance, scalable application architectures
· Experience with application performance profiling tools (MS
Visual Studio 2010)
*Experience*
Experience with any of the following will be considered a plus:
· Low-level system programming, binary data manipulation
· Scrum software development process
· Data communications: TCP/IP, web services, WCF, HTTP
· Event driven UI programming using C# and ASP.NET
· SQL Server databases
· Developing medical products
· Test driven development
