Job Description/Role & Requirements:
Requires interaction with US leads to support delivery of Provisioning
and Activation projects, interact with centers and US support folks to
help support VOIP order issues.
Required skill sets: Resource must have the knowledge of existing
Verizon Provisioning VoIP network or similar.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Skills Required:
5+ years overall experience in OOA/OOD, Java on UNIX platform with Oracle RDBMS
3+ years of experience in tracing production issues back to code and
applying temporary data fix and permanent resolution
3+ years experience with Oracle RDBMS with strong command on writing
SQLs, stored procedures, functions and triggers
3+ years of strong experience in UNIX/LINUX/Solaris environment and
related utilities including shell scripts, Perl, Sed / Awk to generate
reports, develop monitoring scripts, apply data corrections.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly
communicate with onshore and offshore leads and development team.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating
exceptional analytical thinking, adaptability, multi-tasking,
enthusiasm and motivation
Can support and resolve the application production issues in off
business hours (Including Week Ends).
Ability to co-ordinate between onshore and global offsite teams with
experience in generating daily/weekly/monthly metrics of offshore SDLC
to demonstrate quality/efficiency of offshore delivery.
Skills Preferred:
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Configuration Management tool such as CVS (highly desirable)
2-3 years experience developing applications using C++, C
Java certifications
Required years of experience: 5+ years

Java Developer
Job Description/Role & Requirements:
The short description of the requirement is “a Java server side
developer with experience in telecom network provisioning”.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following skills.
- Experience developing Java/J2EE server side applications
- Experience developing Servlets and WebServices
- Experience with weblogic is a plus
- Experience in Telecom provisioning is a plus
- Strong knowledge in SQL/JDBC, Oracle database
- ORM/Persistence technologies like Hibernate, JPA is a plus.
- Experience with writing networking modules in Java (TCP/IP, UDP,
SIP, HTTP, HTTPS, Socket programming)
- Experience working in Unix environment (for both development and
testing)
Ideally the candidate should have 7+ years of experience, although an
exceptional candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience is
acceptable.
