Requirements:
7 years of extensive experience in supporting *MS SQL Server 2005/2008R2 on
Windows 2003/2008 platforms*
Expert level skills on Install/Upgrade/Configure SQL servers/databases for
all supported versions
Expert level skills on server level *Performance Tuning, Query Optimization
and Database Tuning at large environments*
Highly experienced on supporting Microsoft Clustering and other industry
standard HA technologies
Highly experienced on implementing Disaster Recovery features like *Database
Mirroring, Log Shipping and SQ*L
Replication for business critical applications
Good communication and presentation skills, be able to interact with
multiple teams at various levels
Good understanding of Storage level replication technologies like *SRDF and
SRM*
Excellent knowledge about other Microsoft products like *DTS, SSIS,
SSRS*and other client interface tools
Provide database operation support for production and non-production
environments
Provide deployment support for database objects in production and test
environments
Provide 24/7 on call production support on rotation basis
Experience with database tools like Quest Foglight and other industry
standard monitoring tools
Experience using SQL Profiler is desired.
