Responsibilities:
-Tuning performance
-J2ee implementations/specification and application components that go with
that.
-Understand tuning performance for java applications
-Understand containers with which applications run- for example, websphere
application server is a container.
-Monitor performance
-Diagnostic experience
-Understand how applications interact with network- there is a significant
online piece and batch piece behind the scenes, making sure processing is
efficient
- SHOULD have hands on development experience.
Top 3:
1. Websphere application server environment- performance tuning
2. SILK- load test software, or another similar load test software tool.
3. Experience working with java applications- understand the pitfalls and
identify those areas
