Deployment Role: *Sr. CCNE (Network Engineer)*
Designs, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains data network
equipment, inclusive of but not limited to the switches, routers, ACS,
IDS/IPS & firewalls. Provides usage & management reports, completes
requests for new service, determines methodology for installing data
networking service, determines appropriateness of moderate equipment
changes or modifications, communication circuit provisioning & changes.
*Description:* Skills that are needed are:
· Previous experience in designing, implementing & maintaining
large scale *Cisco data networking environments* and *reporting systems*.
· Excellent organizational skills
· Excellent communication skills, i.e. written and verbal
· Certifications – either *CCNP* or *CCIE* preferred
· Thorough knowledge of *IP routing and switching*
· Thorough knowledge of *QoS*
· Good understanding of other protocols, i.e. NetBIOS, etc.
· Good understanding of *Networking Security principles & practices*,
i.e. ACLs, firewall rules, etc.
