Years of Exp : 5-8 years * Must: • Expertise with C and C++ • Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent Object Oriented design skills • Familiarity with testing methodologies, strategies and automated tools • Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus • At least five years of experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing C/C++ applications in code bases of greater than 50,000 lines • At least two years of experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing C/C++ applications on Linux or UNIX systems • Experience developing applications within a disciplined development methodology such as SDLC, UML, etc. Preferred: • Good Understanding of system design techniques and user interface design • Expertise developing applications against relational databases • Expertise with core Java • Expertise with shell scripting, especially Bash • Experience creating and maintaining complex build systems based on “make” • Experience with Java/C bridge technologies such as JNI and JNA • Experience with SYS V IPC Role Expectations:- • Developing and supporting mission critical applications running 24x7 • Provides proactive advice and feedback throughout the development lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problems. • Create technical and functional design documents.
