Hi, Please have a look at the below position and let me know if this is something you would be interested in. *Title: Load and Performance Tester w/Java Coding experience* *Duration: 6 to 12 Months. * *Location: St Louis, MO. * As a member of the Test Services team, we look for you to help transform our QA function into a high agile team. This position will focus on load and performance testing. This will include designing, writing, and executing load and performance tests against a variety of projects. You will work closely with the QA Automation Engineers and the Software Development Engineers. *Essential Duties:* ` Responsible for designing, authoring, and executing load and performance tests using tools like: o Jmeter and NeoLoad o SoapUI and LoadUI o Authoring performance tests from scratch in Java when necessary ` Responsible for working with the project team to define the scope of load and performance testing within the context of each sprint / delivery ` Comprehend user stories to understand task items per story in the context load and performance testing. ` Clearly communicate to relevant parties related to status of testing activities ` Strengthen the presence of our department as an Agile center of excellence ` Track testing progress via *JIRA / Greenhopper* ` Ensure proper documentation related to testing deliverables and lessons learned ` Participate in the process to continually enhance best practices for quality assurance *Required Skills:* ` Web Development · Java coding experience · Knowledge of scripting languages: PHP, Javascript, or similar · Basic or better familiarity with HTTP Request / Response structure · Knowledge of Jquery / AJAX *Bonus for:* ` Knowledge of web frameworks.
