*Primary Responsibilities:
Technical expert in the creation and development of software components and
applications for medical devices and ancillaries.
Participates in definition, design, construction, testing and debugging of
new software products, or enhancements to existing software products.
Supports the implementation of, and improvements to, software development
processes and procedures, toolsets and technologies.
Collaborates with Research and Development staff to identify solutions for,
and resolve issues with, product software.
Programming interfaces with medical devices for data acquisition, data
management and analysis.
Multi-device simultaneous acquisition programming.
Assists in training and supervision of less experienced software
engineering staff.
Conducts feasibility of proposed designs to determine their ability to
function as intended.
Crafts and maintains detailed documentation, for both internal and external
customers, throughout all phases of software product *
