Minimum 9 years of experience as DBA not in total IT
We currently have an immediate requirement for a *Oracle E-Business DBA* in
Pittsburg, PA. This is a 14 months *CONTRACT * position.
Responsibilities include:
· - Direct programmers and analysts to make changes to existing
databases and database management systems.
- Direct others in coding logical and physical database descriptions.
- Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time
and cost required to accomplish project.
- Review and approve database development and determine project scope and
limitations. Approve, schedule, plan and supervise the installation and
testing of new products and improvements to computer systems.
Skills required include:
DBA:
- Install, Configure, Implement and manage Oracle E-Business Suite
environments.
- Install, configure, implement and support Oracle database environments
with RAC configurations.
- Help to architect, build and support highly-available Oracle EBS,
Database and Fusion Middleware environments including appropriate
reporting, backup-recovery and monitoring systems.
- Performance tuning, cloning, patching and upgrade of Oracle EBS and
databases.
- Perform daily administration support for database backups, performance
tuning and monitoring
- Participate in capacity management of existing database environments.
- Establish and Maintain security of database environments. Support and
comply with associated SOX standards and procedures.
