*Job Title : BI Lead Developer*
*Location : Houston, TX***
*Duration : 6+ Months*
We are currently looking for a BI Technical Lead to join the project in
Houston, TX. The BI Team Lead will be responsible for managing all projects
from a technical perspective and should be able to understand business
challenges & translate them into requirements/solutions. They should have
experience designing, developing, and implementing complex BI solutions,
relational and multi-dimensional data models, and administration of the BI
environment. Responsibilities also include supervising the ongoing
development efforts of other team members on a day to day basis. This
person will work very closely with the Business Analysts on the team and a
large set of customers to understand customer expectations and optimally
deliver the MSH BI footprint.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years with a focus on reporting, analytics
and business intelligence. The candidate should possess excellent
organization skills, leadership skills and the ability to multi task in a
highly fast paced environment.
Minimum Job Qualifications:**
Education/Training – **
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology,
engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior
experience with either BOXI 2.0 or higher. This should include ideally all
the products in the technology stack (such as :
explorer/voyager/xcelsisus/crystal). Strong knowledge of Unix, Windows
platforms, shell scripting desired.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills – **
· 5+ years experience as BI analyst for multi-terabyte data
warehouse projects (healthcare preferred).
· Strong SQL skills to be able to fine tune and optimize databases.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting
and collaborating internally and with the customer. Ability to express
complex technical information in a user-friendly language and style;
present information effectively in one-on-one, and small group settings,
including executive management
· Should have ideally had experience with upgrading SAP Business
Objects environment.
· Understands the importance of maintaining the physical and
technical security and privacy of protected health information (PHI)
