*Job Title : SQL Server Developer/SSIS ***
Location : *Jacksonville, FL***
*Duration : 6+ Months*
SQL Server Developer / SSIS for our client in the financial services
industry located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 6 month renewable contract.
*Responsibilities:*
· Analysis/Design, Development of Databases, SSIS packages, Web
Application, related Web services
· Maintenance and production support of Databases, SSIS packages, Web
Application, related Web services and databases
· Interacting with other IT personnel in order to provide technical
expertise and services
· Provide necessary production support for existing Applications,
Services and Processes
· Provide Technical direction in design, development and systems
integration including client engagement from definition phase through
implementation
· Overseeing project and support request progress; participating in,
and managing work respective to policies and procedures
· Communicating status and issues in a clear and professional manner
· Participate in Disaster Recovery Activity, develops improvements
for performance, availability and reliability
· Performing code reviews to enforce coding standards, code
consistency, use of design patterns and adherence to application design
· Responsible for planning and providing weekly status
Minimum Required Skills and Experience:
· 4+ years SQL Server Development including SQL Server 2008 database
design, Stored Procedures, Triggers, SSIS Packages, etc.
· Experience with design, development, and support of web
applications utilizing .Net (C#)
· Strong Problem solving and root cause identification skills
· Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
· Must be a self-starter, work well independently and in a
collaborative team environment
· Strong verbal/written communications and presentation skills
· Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
· 5+ years experience as team leader (preferably working with both
onshore/offshore)
· Experience in the Banking and/or Large Corporate Financial Services
companies in a technology development and support function
