*Job Description:*
Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Java Developer
who can also lead the project from the technical side, coordinating with
two other developers in the same Minneapolis location.
Once this application is finished, there may be an opportunity to extend
the contract if the person has integration skills that could role into
DataPower development.
*Responsibilities: *
Acts as the highest-level technical expert on the development and
implementation of highly complex, large-scale internet, and intranet
applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines.
Uses expert knowledge of web technologies, including C++, Java, Java
Script, HTML, CGI, XML, Perl, ASP, multimedia applications, database
modeling tools, and/or database interactions.
Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and
determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective
software/package solution.
Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies,
developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as
they pertain to web-based systems.
Oversees system quality assurance and consistency with installation and
security policy and standards.
*Qualifications:*
Needs to be a self starter who can work under minimal supervision and
deliver results.
Experience is Java Application Tuning is a must using tools like CA
Introscope.
Development: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JSP, SAX, Ant.
Database: Oracle Websphere: MQ as a JMS Provider Queue Connection Factories
Queues, Backout Queues, failure Queues Oracle JDBC Datasources Web
Applications (WAR, EAR).
Experience: Creating, configuring, and performance tuning of MQ readers
using JMS and Spring.
XML message parsing using SAX Performance tuning Oracle relational
databases and Hibernate Website development using Struts, JSP Packaging,
and deployment using Ant Overall Websphere performance tuning.
