*Job Title : Configuration Developer - Guidewire Application*
*Location : Tallahassee, FL*
*Duration : 6+ Months*
Required Skills:
Duties:-
• Configuration Developers are primarily responsible for modifying the
Guidewire application itself to conform to customer-specific requirements.
• Guidewire applications provide multiple configuration mechanisms that
configuration developers make use of.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:-
• System Development Methodology, tools, and techniques experience
• Experience working as a part of an Agile development team.
• Experience with other modern technologies, such as SQL, XML, and
scripting languages
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Java, web services and
related technologies
• Experience with large data conversions on an enterprise level project
• Property and Casualty Insurance industry experience
• Experience configuring the Guidewire application using GOSU
• Experience working as a part of an Agile development team
• Ability to debug software issues.
• Experience using Rally
Preferred Qualifications:-
• Eight or more years’ experience implementing software solutions,
including at least one year experience leading other developers.
• Experience with Thunderhead Admin, Business Content Studio and Business
Objects Studio
• Experience with Guidewire applications and data structures
• Experience developing web applications for the insurance industry
• Experience with Perforce Configuration Management Software
• Property & Casualty insurance experience
