*Technical Skills (Required)*
• High level of proficiency with Cognos 8 BI (Framework Manager,
Transformer, Metrics Server, Analysis Studio, Report Studio, Query Studio,
Go Mobile, TM1, PowerPlay). Cognos SDK is a strong plus.
• 5+ years in Cognos Framework integration with Teradata and
Oracle (10G)
• Performance tuning experience required (front-end and database
layers)
• Cognos and Database security experience. Expert knowledge of
designing, developing and migrating authorization schemes to BI solution.
• 2+ years Web Services experience Skills/Knowledge
*Design Skills*
• Experience with UML, use case methodologies
• Translate high-level Business Intelligence requirements to
functional definitions, and ultimately to a technical design and
implementation
• Ability to understand concepts expressed in process models,
data models (logical and physical), work flow diagrams, data sourcing, and
logic flow charts.
• Familiarity with Data Modeling tools like Erwin a solid plus

*Additional Skills*
• Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree a plus.
• Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica a solid plus.
