*Job Title: EDI Developer
Location: Dayton, Ohio
Duration: 6 Months
Must Have:*
Top 3 skillsets that are needed for this position:
Healthcare EDI 270,834,835,820,837 transactions
Sybase ECMap
Microsoft C#, VB .Net and SQL Server.
*Required Skills:*
6+ years of advanced OOP principles and design experience
Experience developing and designing n-tier applications with multi-tier
architectures.
Strong relational database experience including tuning, stored procedure
development and use of reporting services in a Microsoft environment.
Experience with the following EDI sets (837,834,820,835,276/277,277U,
270/271,278, etc.)
Experience working with EDI technologies ECMap, ECGateway, HIPAA Gateway,
and Facets. BizTalk and other transformation and mapping experience may be
substituted here.
XML,XSLT, Schema coding experience and translation abilities
Application development in a healthcare or payer related field mandatory.
(Mid/Sr only) – Experience supporting 1,000,000 + transactions per month
via EDI, Interfaces & Extracts.
*Certification: *
Certifications in Microsoft Training or comparable certifications for Java
or other OOP languages (MCSD, etc.)

Technical Skills: *
Working technical knowledge of object-based programming languages,
including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, or Python
Experience working with enterprise application Microsoft Office
Hands on experience working in integrated development environments,
including , including SVN, Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server
Extensive experience with Windows operating systems.
Extensive experience with Windows SQL Server database.
Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle,
especially Agile, Test Driven Development, and Waterfall
Familiarity with TDD and Iterative software development methodologies.

Familiarity with the health industry
Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new
technologies.
