Lead SharePoint Architect with 2010 > 2013 upgrade experience specifically
around (Custom Applications & Solutions) in a large-scale cloud-based SaaS
delivery model. Advise and guide central IT on application and content
standards and guidance on determining solution readiness for the 2013 App
catalog or OOTB SharePoint 2013 remediation. Understand and take full
advantage of SharePoint capabilities such as variations, publishing model,
enterprise search, managed metadata, user profiles, security model, and
SharePoint support for Forms-Based Authentication, to architect a solution
in the cloud.
Architecture and design of a service oriented architecture (SOA) solution
that enables portal to integrate with third party management engines
through services and a backend engine through web services. Experience
with/in designing a service oriented architecture (SOA) solution that
enables external systems to integration through web services. Experience
in leading a large team of onshore and offshore resources. To include
developers during a development phase.
*Requirements:*
7-9 years of overall experience. Strong experience leading, managing and
designing Sharepoint Solutions
Experience leading a 2010-2013 Sharepoint Migration as a Cloud (SaaS)
offering
Strong Cloud experience—cloud design and architecture, planning and
analysis, security
Strong leadership skills—Thought, Team and Technology Leadership skills
Experience developing Sharepoint Architecture roadmaps
Sharepoint, Information Architecture, Web Content Management
Expertise in architecting/designing SharePoint Web Content Management
Expertise in architecting/designing SharePoint Information Architecture(
Taxonomy, Managed Metadata, metadata, library, security etc.)
SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Branding, SharePoint Master
Pages and Page Layouts, Custom Web Parts, JavaScript, HTML, OData, CSS,
Visual Studio 2012 based custom solutions
Sharepoint Security to include, user profiles, security model, forms based
authentication; access mapping;
Other administration tasks like AV, updating (WSUS) San backups, load
balancing, hardware heath monitoring techniques in a farm environment,
performance tuning
Integration with external data sources and web services; profile imports;
in/out email; access mapping
SharePoint variations, SharePoint publishing model, custom WCF services,
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective
communicator and listener.
Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
*Other considerations*
SharePoint 2007 through 2013 Microsoft Certifications
Insights (or business intelligence). Skills in data management, report
design and data analysis or Content (also known as ECM) require a deep
knowledge of records management processes, along with an appreciation of
regulatory requirements.
Sites workload (using SharePoint as an externally facing web site) skills
like advanced html design (if the site is a consumer facing information
site), or Line of Business user authentication skills (if SharePoint is
being used as a supply chain management extranet site).
Communities (building online communities within SharePoint) skills. For
instance, micro-blogging (e.g. Twitter) capability in SharePoint 2013.
(Integration of this calls for advanced developer skills)
