*Job Title: Business Objects Developer*
*Location: Irvine, CA*
*Duration: 9+ Months Contract*
*Overview:*
Client is replacing a key/core financial system. This role is part of that
larger project.
Responsible for BI business / functional requirements which include the
following:
Requirements Gathering/ Clarification
Functional Specification Documentation
User Story & Test Case creation
Serves as Requirements Subject-Matter Expert (SME)
Ensuring accurate Business Objects Report results
Log defects when encountered
Ensuring QA Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Execution meet business
requirements
Providing assistance and feedback where necessary as SME
Bridging the gap between business and QA team
MetaCenter Metadata Repository
Updating repository with new elements/ queries/ programs
Assist in implementing design changes
Provide support and expertise during: QA, UAT, deployment and post
implementation as needed
Raise Risks to Project Manager
Responsible for the timely creation and distribution of Meeting Minutes
Experience / Entry Criteria:
5+ years Business Intelligence Experience Required
3+ years Business Objects Report Development Experience Required
Experience with Full life SDLC including requirements gathering, functional
specs and design, BO development to include Web Intelligence, Crystal
reports and dashboard creations. Experience with Metacenter a plus.
Experience with SAS is a plus
Strong experience with MS office including Excel, Word and Access
Auto Finance/Capital Finance experience is a major plus
Excellent interpersonal skills, team building skills
Ability to manage multiple work streams concurrently
