*SQL Server DBA*
*Duration: 12 month contract*

*Must have Performance Tuning exp*
Senior SQL Server DBA with Applications and Systems DBA experience.
Database Administrator will have primary responsibility for one or more
database implementations.
This includes monitoring, performance-tuning, backup and recovery,
upgrades, establishing user access controls, database security, defining
new/modified
database tables, device configuration, and capacity planning.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Install and maintain various SQL Server versions.
- Create, maintain, support SQL Server databases.
- Build high availability systems.
- Research and resolve SQL Server software and database issues
- Establish and maintain backup and recovery processes
- Experience with monitoring and tuning of SQL Server databases
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5+ years SQL Server experience
- Must have a strong problem tracking skills.
- Must be senior level on performance monitoring and tuning.
- Ability to work well with other employees
- Must be good at windows power shell and other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of additional DBMS's is a plus(oracle, Sybase, My SQL and etc)

MS SQL Server 7.0 Expert 0.0 Preferred
