*Position: Sr. Java Developer *
*Location: Herndon, VA*
*Duration: 6 months*
*Rate: $ 40/hr on C2C*
*Description:*
Seeking a Java Developer with 7+ years of experience to perform analysis,
design, development and unit testing of software applications from user
requirements and design documents. You will be responsible for resolving
defects encountered during various testing cycles, and for performing
configuration repository administration including software, streams &
directories creation, and source code archiving. In addition, management of
the software product configuration including generation of product,
component baselines, and tracking and responsibility for developing and
maintaining user software configuration management guides while providing
support and training to enforce Software Configuration Management
principles.
*Required Skills:*
Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database
server and/or architecture of the system being developed
7+ Years of strong working knowledge of the following: Java/J2EE, EJB,
Struts, Hibernate, Spring
ASP, BEA - Web logic, SQL, Oracle, Swing (plus)
Knowledge of Solaris (2.8), UNIX, & windows)
UNIX shell scripting experience
Good communication and technical writing skills
