Job Title:Front End Java Programmer (Financial/Banking)
Location:Norristown PA
Duration:6-12 Months with possible extensions
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience working in both Unix/Linux and Wintel environments. Current
experience working with app servers – preferably WebLogic. Experience in
various Java server related technologies, such as EJB and Spring. Strong
knowledge of the UNIX/Linux Operating system: shells, file systems,
symbolic links, process management, etc. Proven design experience in
large-scale, enterprise-style financial services applications. Ability to
lead a team of developers in a large scale project following an Agile
methodology.
Required Skills
Full development lifecycle experience as a technical lead. Must demonstrate
experience delivering systems / projects from inception through
implementation.
J2EE / EJB - preferably WebLogic
High level of proficiency in Analysis, Design, Build, and Deployment of
EJBs (strong server side experience)
Able to perform code reviews of each team member and educate them on best
practices.
Experience w/OOAD and an understanding of patterns
Experience with continuous integration build tools i.e. Jenkins
Experience creating and maintaining ant build scripts
Experience coding in Groovy or similar language
Desired Skills
Oracle database programming experience, including performance tuning.
Solid understanding of MQ; JNI; JMS/MQ; Oracle/JDBC/JPA/Hibernate a strong
plus
Exposure to Spring MVC
Experience in Linux/UNIX/Solaris/AIX; Shell programming / PERL a plus
Experience with AJAX
Experience with JQuery, DOJO, CSS
