*Location : Pittsburgh, PA *
*Duration : 12-18 month contract*

We are currently seeking a Mid-Senior Programmer with a focus on
PowerBuilder development. This positsition provides proficient programming
services, defines technical requirements, designs, develops and/or
maintains computer applications/systems, and provides services to meet
product information technology (IT) and business needs.
*Requirements:*
Strong analytical skills are required. Must be able to work within a team
environment with little to no supervision and having the ability to perform
self-directed activities.
Projects will include development of: Software Products, mobile device
support, and development of the next generation of the product suite. The
ideal candidate has typically completed a four-year academic degree
including courses in computer programming, systems analysis, system
development, or systems engineering OR has acquired Core IT skills and
knowledge via practical experience.
*Specific preferences include:*
8+ years experience in application development encompassing design,
development, maintenance, support, and enhancement of applications.
5+ years application development experience using PowerBuilder technology
required.
5+ years application development experience using SQL programming required.
Knowledge of HL7, electronic health care systems, X12 transactions a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Strong problem solving skills are required.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as on small
teams, and be able to lead small teams.
Must be able to follow policies and procedures and department software
development lifecycle.
