Start Date: ASAP
*Qualifications:*
Seven years of experience as a Oracle DBA
Five years of Database Performance
Support Oracle databases (10g/11g)
Requirements gathering with business and application development teams
Recommendation on approach for the DB based off requirements
Deploy code, setup the DB to meet application needs
Develop stored procedures, triggers, etc as needed by the application.
Develop scripts for the Operations group to utilize for day-to-day
troubleshooting of DB issues
Provide Proofs of Concept for new technologies/advanced in the DB platform
and work to deploy and roll-out as necessary
Provide Performance Tuning (queries primarily, and otherwise)
Help define infrastructure strategy for the organization based on
application needs and trends in the marketplace
Perform patches and upgrades when applicable
