*Job Responsibilities:*The successful candidate for this position is
expected to perform the following job responsibilities:
Work within the Information Technology and Data Analysis (ITDA) function
delivering web solutions
Participate in the development of frontend browser code as part of a
project team
Deliver highly maintainable and accurate source code
Participate in code reviews
*Skills / Qualifications:*The successful candidate will have a good
combination of the following skills:
Strong analytic skills to balance UI requirements against ease of use and
technical requirements
Solid data structure and algorithm knowledge required
Demonstrated enthusiasm for solving complex problems
*Education / Experience:*At least 2 years of experience as a frontend web
developer with strong experience implementing user interfaces
At least 2 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with one or more MV* JavaScript libraries or frameworks
(AngularJS, Backbone, EmberJS, etc.)
Record of delivering at least one project based on AngularJS
Experience with revision control (Subversion)
Experience with UI Bootstrap or Twitter Bootstrap a plus
Experience writing Single Page Applications
Experience with Linux desired
Experience with Java a plus
Experience developing mobile web applications a plus
Experience with iOS development a plus
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or desired
Preference will be given to candidates having worked with scientists
