Strong experience with Web architecture and Web design and development
tools and languages, e.g. JSP, JDBC, Java Servlets, Javabeans/EJBs, ASP, VB
Script, SQL, UNIX, Log4j, JavaScript, SOAP, XML/XSLT/FOP, HTML, Struts, HP
Quality Center, Putty, IBM Websphere, Tomcat.
Required: JSP, JDBC, Java Servlets, Javabeans/EJB’s, RAD, XML/XSLT/FOP,
HTMP, Struts, Tomcat. Strong experience with the design, development and
maintenance of WebServices, interface objects and DAO services.
Experience with writing technical specifications (tech specs) and
participating in code reviews.
Must also be able to work from tech specs that are provided. Experience
with unit testing and integration testing and deploying Web Services in
test environments (ie: Tomcat and IBM Websphere). Experience in Unit
testing, analysis. Additional experience with tracking and resolving
software defects using HP Quality Center. Superior organizational and time
management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skill. Agile
programming and/or prior experience working on a project following SCRUM
development methodology. Experience designing N-tiered applications, with
multi-tier architecture and production Internet architectures
Organization - Follows department development standards and change control
processes. Actively builds technical knowledge by taking advantage of
internal team mentoring and attending professional development
opportunities.
Communication - communicates clearly and concisely (oral and written)
Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer
relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and
exceeding expectations
Tactical execution - demonstrates personal ownership of tasks and follows
through to get the required results in the established timeframe.
