Duration :- 12 months Network Engineers are responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures throughout the company. They also provide high-level technical support for voice and data network systems, create and maintain network documentation, maintain hardware and software standards, and work projects to upgrade to new and/or improved communication equipment and procedures. They must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems. This position involves the following responsibilities: • Daily management and maintenance tasks for network, server, and storage systems • Monitor network and related systems performance and implements performance tuning and alerting • Provides escalation support for lower tier support issues • Provides guidance or direction to other support staff, and engages external vendor support as required • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document network and server systems issues • Maintains disaster recovery procedures for server and network systems • Work independently or in a team setting • Conduct periodic audits, testing, and remediation in accordance with IT, PCI and SAS 70 Audit policies • Maintain a highly secure infrastructure, protecting sensitive data from internal and external threats • Respond to requests for assistance or information in a timely and professional manner • Participate in on-call support rotation • Other duties as assigned Qualified candidates will meet the following: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience • 3+ years experience working as a Network Administrator/Engineer in an environment supporting Cisco Systems VLANs, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls, Windows servers, SAN, and VMware virtualization • Cisco Systems (including UCCx and Unity), Windows Server • Familiarity with VoIP phone systems, including email integration • Strong understanding of voice and data networks, including: Switches, Routers, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, VPN, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, load balancers, Cisco 3750/ME, 2800, 2900, and ASA 5500 • Ability to assess, document, and implement a high level of security across all segments of the IT infrastructure • Understands potential impacts to processes and systems across organization and factors these into solutions • Excellent conceptualization, analytical, logic, and documentation skills • CCNA preferred • Experience with performance monitoring and management tools such as Orion APM/NPM preferred • Financial industry experience a plus Thanks & regards Moiz Khan Allied Informatics Inc. 1815 Satellite Blvd. Suite 302 Duluth, GA 30097 USA.
