"Responsibilities:
• Act as a project manager for terminal automation projects. You have
accountability for timely delivery, within budget and to meet or exceed
customer expectations.
As a project manager you represent the business and you balance the
frequently competing demands like scope, project budget, quality and
customer satisfaction.
• You will need to work with procurement and the engineering teams to
support you in this effort.
• You need to work with engineering team to work on projects. You develop a
concept, create an action plan to achieve that concept and you execute the
plan. Regular travel to site and customer project office (approximately 25%
).
• Responsible for execution of the projects and delivering the same on time
meeting the revenue, Gross Profit and all financial parameters.
• Perform monthly and weekly reviews of the projects with your team to
ensure successful and profitable project completion.
• Work with EFS bid team and design an appropriate delivery model for
terminal automation projects.
• Manage a number of projects under your own supervision.
• Familiar with commercial aspects of projects
Requirements:
• You are an experienced engineer (Bachelor) with a proven track record in
project managing projects for external customers.
• You have a Bachelor degree in instrumentation, measurement & control or
proven experience with automation and control projects.
• You have a good understanding of project management methodologies.
• You have an excellent command of the English language.
• You get results to meet the commitments of the business and clients. You
quickly translate project and business requirements into actions by
defining 'who does what by when' to ensure plans are executed.
• You can interpret specifications and find the balance between what is
specified and what is commercially achievable and acceptable. You use your
intuition, experience, and judgment to assimilate various and conflicting
information or opinions into a well-considered plan.
• You’re an effective communicator. You provide timely and concise
information to the people you work with using clear and thoughtful oral and
written communications to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively.
• You are familiar with commercial aspects of projects including Taxation.
• You have strong Contract Management skills (preferred)
• You are familiar and hands-on in the Project Planning methodologies.
